  3. Love the pics. Lemurs are among my favorite animals as well. They represent a great study in natural selection/divergence. I even recall my awe several decades ago (before college) when I first read of them in Walter Sullivan’s Continents in Motion.

It was at the time in my life when I was just beginning to read about evolution. The book provided great fuel for the launch of my journey from faith to science and reason. It not only answered a lot of my questions but turned me on to Plate Tectonics. I was spellbound reading about the magnetic anomalies on the ocean floor that provided solid evidence for the motion and interplay of the sections/plates of the earth’s crust.

    • I agree. I studied physical geography in college, and greatly loved learning about plate tectonics. I love science, too. Nice to learn things from those who admit they do not know everything but like the journey of discovery science takes us on. 🙂

Oh, Holy Lemurs with their eyes all aglow and wondering if humanz will ever know just how intelligent God’s critters are created.

    • And you will good sir, it’s just not quite ready as of yet (it’s already been approximately 10 years, and I’m still not ready!) 😉 the work has fallen by the wayside since I started blogging but I intend to get back to it soon. 🙂

    • Oh, believe me, I know. I’ll be interested whenever you get it posted. Off topic, but have you ever seen the Spawn animated series from several years back? I’ve been re-watching it lately and like it now more than ever.

    • I have seen Spawn animated yes, it was pretty good if i remember correctly, has been a while. Loved Spawn back in the early days of the character when Todd McFarlane was still writing and drawing. The first 20 or so issues were great and then it tailed off a little for me.Like the director’s cut of the movie too, though it needed more Angela of course.

    • I agree. Haven’t really read it past the first 20 issues, and, I forgot I owned the series, but I found it in a box and I’m glad I did. McFarlane’s Spiderman was awesome too.

    • He really is a great artist, I do love his work. I haven’t seen much of his recent stuff, but he did do the art design for one of my favourite video games from a couple of years ago, Kingdoms of Amalur: Reckoning, a very entertaining RPG…love it.

    • Agreed. I haven’t read too many comics since the mid 90’s as there was such a glutton of product back then it became too much. I recently got back into reading them with DC’s new 52 and such. I own thousands of comics from the 70’s and 80’s however, and never stopped loving them. The superhero movies now are like a dream come true for me. I can’t wait til the DCU gets up and running full steam.

    • I still get Wonder Woman, Red Hood and Detective Comics but that’s about it these days. I too have thousands of DC comics from the 70’s and 80’s. Have had to cut down though through lack of space. And as you said my friend, it’s never been a better time to be a Superhero and DC fan!
