    • Of course there isn’t. None at all. All religion is us. By us. About us. And usually, the “us” consists of men only. Men make it up to justify their twisted sick minds so that they can impose their bullshit on to women and children. We’ll all be gone one day. All our time here will have been spent on stupid shit like gods rather than figuring out how to extend our stay in a universe that doesn’t care in the least about us. We are nothing to it but we are everything to ourselves. Soon, there’ll be no selves left and no one left to miss us.

While the god of the bible rewarded men who would go to war for for him, the spoils of war, like kidnapping, then fucking girls and turning them into domestic slaves, as well as splitting the plunder, men also suffered and died at the hands of the gods invented by men.

      Jeff, we should be way past this primitive mindset, fully aware of the harm it causes, and it does concern me that so many keep holding on to these myths — which will most likely be the demise of our species.

      4) The German troops were often forced to get sprinkled with holy water and listen to a sermon by a Catholic priest before going out on a maneuver.

      I used to work for the American Family Association, where Scott was groomed. This was back when I was a Christian. I had NO idea what I was getting myself into.

      I plunged into the deepest depression and went on antidepressants and anti-anxiety meds the one and only time of my life. I’ve been through a lot of shit in my life, but what I experienced while working there tipped the scale. I rarely use this word — but they are evil.

    • I was “laid off” with a 9 weeks severance package. I knew more than they wanted me too, and I could have sued their asses for what they did to my mental well being. It wasn’t the reason why I went through a deconversion, but it was the beginning of my understanding about just how diabolical and dysfunctional evangelical Christianity really is.
