Ignorant By Choice And Proud Of It

The pictures below are of people who wear ignorance, stupidity, and hubris on their chests as if they were badges of honor bestowed upon them by all the leaders of the world at one time. These people need to stop breeding before they and their like cause the destruction of our species. (How’s that for a blanketed, biased, heavily one-sided statement, eh?)

  1. This post is genius. If it was a person I would marry it – or at least attempt to be monogamous with it 😉

    • Why thank you very much. The author is human, I verified it this morning with a dna test, and is willing to take the place of his post on your offer, though the Atlantic Ocean may make an email exchange relationship a tad more practical. 😀 That was a lovely compliment. Thank you again.

  2. Fuck! I mean, seriously. You know, I can somewhat sympathize with those millions of Germans who cheered for Hitler in the 1930’s…they didn’t know any better. In fact, it is suggested by some Hitler would have gone down in history as one of the world’s greatest statesmen if he had died before 1938’s Kristallnacht.
But to come out with a sign that says ‘CO2 is not a pollutant’ is on par with saying the Earth is flat…and that’s on par with saying Oprah is white…
Gosh, thanks for this post…I lost all hope for humanity:S

    • Well, not all of us are this dumb, and we’re all ignorant of a great many things until we take the time to learn about them, but far too many do not want to do that and pridefully wallow in stupidity as if it’s an honorable thin to do. That’s bad.

    • Don’t worry, I’m very well aware of the fact a lot of Americans don’t fall into the category that by now has become somewhat of a stereotype…I spent a few months in Madison, Wisconsin in late 2009, working for a company that consisted of mostly well educated and informed people. It was like being in Canada, albeit a Canada with a lot more Taco Bells for some reason…

  3. Real life is stranger than fiction and nothing’s as strange as folk.

Obama made pronouncements on Ukraine political problems and referred to the”folks” in Ukraine.
Borrowed of course from Mr Bush’s academic oil library.
If leading by example has any meaning then language is seriously damaged by Obama’s political slang words.

  4. Reblogged this on dandahan and commented:
    The Perfect Golden Circle:
And two Popes are to-day promoted to Sainthood by two Popes.
The Halo continues into the next life.
What second miracle?…why that’s just a formality for lesser aspirants.
And the miracles were …not broadcast to the faithful.
Ireland has multitudes within golden circles…And the leader Mr Kenny TD/ Taoiseach is in Rome for the celebrations.
Many wish for a miracle …will he really disappear or become a Saint a living saint?

    • Yep, southeast Queensland girl… Not the brightest thing to walk the earth. One Nation is Australia’s Teabillies, although they were around long before Sistah $arah Palin and Co. got rolling.

    • The level of stupidity is so profound, you think, “Surely, this must be an act.” And yet, it is not. Jesus, Mary, and Joseph, who I do not believe in, save me.

    • I must say, though, One Nation got absolutely hammered by everyone for being so dumb. The media were merciless, and rightly so. Seems the media in the States (comedy shows aside) are a little slack in belittling the Teabaggers.

    • They’re afraid here of offending them. There’s a deference underlined by fear that they’re shown due to their Christianity being so intertwined with their idiotic beliefs on everything else. It makes them untouchable but for the workings of comedians. Sam Harris, when asked if he thought America was ready for open discourse on religion and how it is tied in to politics here said, “We are no where even near a preliminary stage for such a thing to happen in America.” He’s right. Thus, the media fears offending the most idiotic, fascist shit because it is wrapped in a Christian tortilla shell.

    • No argument there, but some idiocy is global. The protestors in Australia against taxes to help clear up C02 emissions is a good example. Stupid. The Anti-vaccination movement is big in England too. Smallpox started showing up again there. Idiots.
