Catholic Church Still Doesn’t Get It

This recent U.N. report on the Vatican’s despicable, decades long, behavior in its handling of little boy priest rapists is one the Church needed to take humbly, with the utmost respect and seriousness. UN report urges Vatican to act over child sex abuse | euronews, world news

Of course, true to form, they didn’t. Instead, they attacked the U.N. report for what they claim is an “unfair” and “distorted” portrayal of the Church. Vatican calls UN child abuse report ‘distorted’ and ‘unfair’ | euronews, world news

Here’s my distorted and very fair response to the Catholic Church: FUCK YOU! Really fellas, fuck you! Every damn Cardinal, Bishop, and Pope who’s ever been involved in the moving of child rapist priests from one unsuspecting community to another needs to be charged with crimes against humanity and imprisoned til the flesh rots from their bones. The Church needs to be forcibly liquidated: its great wealth then given to the victims of the child predators it has so ubiquitously created and protected all these years. Period. End of the fucking story.

Catholic Church Is Evil, Baby, Says Satan.

Catholic Church Is Evil, Baby, Says Satan.

It is time we, as a species of cognitive creatures, place the well-being of our children above our deference for organized religions and their insipid, insulting concept that invisible realms and beings are more important than the one’s that exist right here, right now. I’m sick of hearing how children are considered to be valued above all else in our society when it is damn clear they most definitely are not. Deference to invisible deities and those institutions that promote their ultimate importance over reality are what we hold most sacred as a society. If our children were as important as we claim they are, their value to us would supersede all else. ALL else. And fuck anyone who tries to argue to the contrary. The reality of what we, as a society, have allowed the Catholic Church to get away with, right in front of our eyes, for decades, annihilates any such argument before it can even begin. Enough already.

Hear, hear! THIS^ is authentic righteous indignation. This is what we need more of. Thank you!

  2. {{{Applause}}} This topic really gets me pissed. The audacity of these religious crime lords, to rebuke anyone that calls them on their B.S. by calling simple facts, distorted, or unfair, is appalling. Those who claim to know the moral high ground, sure don’t seem to know how to act like it.

Looks more like an organized crime group to me. Bunch of pasty white perverts, that have never done an honest days work in their lifetimes, diddling children and covering it up. Then when yet another case comes to light, they start with the excuses, and the victim blaming, while at the same time shuffling the accused around to other areas to repeat the offenses.

I will bet you a buck fifty, that investigators could shine a light up the skirts of these assholes for decades, and never uncover all of the crimes they have committed. Moral high ground my ass…

    • I’m certain this behavior within the Church is hundreds of years old. The bloody Archdiocese of Chicago released their records on this matter publicly a few months ago. By their own admission almost EVERY Church official in Chicago has at one time or another been involved in hiding child rapists in unsuspecting parishes and allowing little boys to be raped by priests over and over again. They ADMIT this, and yet no criminal charges are filed. Fuck religion and the deference society gives it. Americans DO NOT place their kids above all else. If they did, the Catholic Church would be held accountable for its sins. Fuck it. Gets me STEAMED baby! STEAMED!

  3. Why Interpol won’t raid the Vatican is beyond me. There is no ifs or buts about this: they are shielding an enormous, global pedophile ring and Vatican documents need to be seized so arrests can be made.

    • The Chicago Archdiocese released their documents on this recently. EVERY top guy in the Diocese knew and participated in this for decades! Cardinal Bernadine, whom many loved, was absolutely involved personally with secretly moving child rapists around. All this is in the shit the Church released themselves. And yet, nothing happens. No arrests. No trials. Nothing. Disgusting. If this were an a-theist group we were talking about, people would already have been put to death for this.

    • You reckon starting a petition might help get things moving?

      Like

    • Perhaps. It should at least draw attention to itself from the numerous people who’ll demand the petition be taken down because it presents a skewed vision of the Church. You know, the only skewed version of that child rapist factory is the one that tries to present the Catholic Church as an institution of love and healing for all people. That Church simply doesn’t exist and never has.

    • You have, of course, heard what the Holy Sea’s defense is to all this: the priests and bishops “aren’t employees.”

    • I do believe I’ve read that before. They can’t even fake giving a shit about this. Really, just fucking ACT like you’re concerned. Jesus! These guys are truly fucked up. My guess is that child rape within the Roman Catholic Clergy has been the norm for hundreds if not a thousand years or more. It’s just that in the past 30 or so years victims started complaining about it.

  4. The sad thing is your rant states the bloody obvious. That’s not an offense to you, but to the church, for having the audacity to criticize the UN for saying they should deal with it. I read the article. It’s painfully silly to respond to issues of child abuse by saying you’re already ‘changed procedures’…You change procedures when a space shuttle blows up. When you touch children, you either jump off a bridge or resort to the humblest of humbleness for all eternity and pray mankind will be as forgiving as Jesus was…

On a totally different note, and I’m sorry to bother you with this, but can I ask how you were notified of the ‘Cookie monster’ post I put out last night? Was it your reader, an email, a carrier pigeon? I’m trying to figure out what happens exactly when I post something:S

    • You must have put a link to my blog in one or two of your posts. When they transferred over, I got a pingback notification e-mail. I realized it was you guys and that you had transferred stuff over. I poked around a bit actually before I realized what was up. Otherwise, I’m not sure I’d know you transferred over to the new blog.
