I found out just a while ago that I’ve been awarded the “Inventive Blogger Award” by my friends from http://randomnessessities.com. That these outstanding and highly intelligent living creatures should honor me with such an award is, well, to be expected because I’m a self-awarded Nobel Prize winning genius, but that doesn’t make it any less a flattering and heart warming gesture on their part. To claim the award, however, winners, like me, must first complete these five tasks.
- Select blogs I feel deserve this award, too, and post their links on my blog, just like I’m doing here. There is no limit to the number of blogs you can select for the award. I have chosen these three for the award: A) http://illuminutti.com/ This blog discusses and exposes the stupidity behind Conspiracy Theories and other similar types of paranoid riddled beliefs littering the thoughts of far too many people today. I like the layout of this blog and the tone of the posts written on it. It’s a fun and informative site. b) http://thesuperstitiousnakedape.wordpress.com/ This blog has some of the best written critical essays on religion and the “believe without evidence” venom it spits out that I’ve read. Damn good blog. c) My last award recipient is: http://maasaiboys.wordpress.com/ This blog is run by my friend, Mak, who was one of the first folks to ever follow me on wordpress.com. His blog is an excellent one because he poses theological questions; then asks his readers to post their opinions on them. This almost always leads to informative, and sometimes colorful, debates about these topics on the site. His blog is easy to read and very informative, even when the questions he poses are not easy ones to answer.
Write a blog post and say something about my choices for winning the award. Working on that now.
Include a list of 5 things I enjoy about blogging. a. It has introduced me to some new and wonderfully bright friends from all around the globe. b. It has freed the Cannibal that is my soul. c. It has made me part of a community of thinkers like myself and given me a sense belonging I didn’t have before. d. It continues to help me clarify to myself what it is I really feel and think about life. E. My wit is getting sharper, and my humor more cutting the more I continue to blog.
Notify the blogs I’ve awarded the prize to and share these instructions with them on how to claim it without altering them or the badge I received in any way. OK.
